- 1 kg multi-colour carrots
- 2 onions
- sunflower oil
- bay leaf
Set barbacoa with division plate with a (aluminium) container with water, heat to 180°C.
Clean the carrots and cut into slices of approximately half a centimetre thick. Thickness is paramount here. If you slice too thin, you will have crisps. If they are too thick, they will not cook properly.
Onion in strips (julienne).
Add everything together on the baking sheet with a splash of oil and seasoning to your liking.
Place in the barbacoa and let it cook, stir regularly.
Test whether the carrots are done with a fork or the tip of a knife, if it cuts through the carrot without resistance, they are done. Enjoy your meal.
